Alaric Hamacher, award-winning filmmaker is listed among Kwangwoon University’s top authors by Exaly, an independent research analytics platform. Exaly’s Kwangwoon University Top Authors list is based on peer-reviewed citations.

Hamacher’s work and research combines his background in cinematography and stereoscopic 3D filmmaking with research in digital holography, immersive media, spatial computing, XR, and virtual production.

Recent work includes the 2025 Optics Letters paper “Holography in your pocket: generating full-parallax portraits with an iPhone,” continuing his research connecting stereoscopic imaging, digital holography, and emerging spatial media technologies.
