Research, artworks and projects by Prof. Alaric Hamacher and the 3D Film Lab at Kwangwoon University in the field of digital holography and spatial imaging.
The work explores full-parallax digital holograms, holographic stereograms, computational imaging, photogrammetry, multi-view and light-field imaging, and new methods for creating spatial imagery from photographic and three-dimensional scene data.
Projects range from internationally exhibited holographic artworks such as Blue Girl to research into accessible holographic production, digital hologram rendering, volumetric capture, Gaussian Splatting and emerging glasses-free spatial displays.
