Summary:
The class covers basic introduction to history of VR. It introduces basic understanding of mathematical background and algorithms of structure from Motion as basis for photogrammetry. Students learn with practical examples how to recreate 3D models using a smartphone. 3D Models are edited and converted using open source software. At the end of the course students are able to create 3D models to edit and convert them in industry standard formats for use in multiple graphic applications and the metaverse.
