The stereoscopic short film FLY 3D, made by students during Alaric Hamacher’s 3D Master Class at the Busan International Short Film Festival, has been selected for the 3D section of the Courant3D Festival 2026 in France, outside the competition.

The film was first screened at the Busan Cinema Center during BISFF 2026. It follows a sound engineer who escapes into a harmonious daydream while the film crew argues over a scene, before the sounds of production bring him back to reality.

FLY 3D was produced with the Sony NEX3D and edited in DaVinci Resolve using live stereoscopic monitoring. The final film was delivered as a Color 3D DCP for theatrical projection.
